C-STAR alcohol/drug treatment. Operated by the state of Missouri's Mental Health Department, C-Star is an outpatient program for several weeks one-on-one with group meetings in many counties around the state. Some (or all) funding is often paid for by the state, depending on patient's income. It is a friendly program; snack lunch and some van transportation provided, multiple counselors and classes plus individual counselors.
